Thumper is a 3 1/2 month old Dachshund mix.  He weighs 6 pounds right now and has been given his first set of shots.

We got Thumper from someone who saved him from going to the pound.  We have only had him for about a week so we don't know much about his personality yet.

He loves to snuggle and is scared when first meeting people.  He is interested in other dogs, but we haven't let him play with any just yet.  We are very cautious letting puppies around other dog until they are fully vaccinated.

We feel he would do better in a home with adults and older children.  We would also like for him to have a fenced yard for potty and playtime so he can enjoy some freedom without a leash.
