Roosevelt is a 4 year old Chocolate lab mix, he weighs 43.2 pounds right now.

This sweet boy was found while one of our volunteers was going house to house helping dog in the cold weather we just had.  Roosevelt was very thin and she was worried about his health.  The owners signed him over to us so we could get him medical attention.

Roosevelt is unfortunately heart worm positive and was full of parasites.  We are trying to get some weight on him and then we will start his heart worm treatment.

He really could use a foster home or more importantly a forever home so he could recover happily.

We will be testing him with other dogs and kids when he is well enough.
