Sweetie is a beautiful Golden Retriever/Lab mix.  She is around 8 years old, but has a young spirit and she weighs 95 pounds.  She was given to us by her owner when she couldn't take care of her anymore. 

Sweetie is in a foster home and has settled in with their two other dogs. Sweetie is remembering manners she seems to have learned earlier in life.  They are working on sit, down, and wait.  Sit and down is really needed at meal time when bowls are being filled.  

After initial high energy, she took a nice long walk with her foster parents and seems to be well mannered on a leash.  

She has a nice deep throated bark, used only to indicate desire to go out or come in.  In the back yard, she seems to enjoy a sunny spot on gravel walkway, mulched walks or higher up on leafy bank.  A fenced yard is desired for Sweetie because this is what she is used to in her foster home.  

Inside, Sweetie is sharing the same beds as her foster sisters.  She even went on vacation with them during the Christmas holiday and did great in the car.
