Oscar looks like a German Shepherd/Chihuahua mix, but we are not sure of his breed, he is around 1 1/2 years old.   

He should have been neutered a year ago, but was not.  His family got tired of him marking in the house so they asked the babysitter to take him to the pound.  Instead the babysitter called a friend, who called us.

He is the cutest and most unique mixed breed we have seen in a long time.  He looks like a German Shepherd but with a Chihuahua size/body, how neat is that!!!  

He will be fully vetted and neutered next week since he just came into the rescue 7/17/15.  He will need some work with potty training but he is a smart guy who should learn quickly. 

He gets along great with older kids, cats and other dogs. Right now he is scared because of all the changes in his life so we would feel more comfortable placing him in a home with older children and not younger ones. He needs some work getting used to men, we have recently found out.  Not sure why, but he will growl at men when first meeting them.

He would not be a good choice for an apartment because he will bark when left alone.  He loves to play in a fenced yard and is so fun to watch.
