Arabella is about 4-5 yrs old and weighs 9 pounds.  She is an owner release and we were told that she is a Shih Tzu.  It seems that when one of our volunteers shaved all her hair off that she looks more like a Schnauzer.

This poor girl spent most of the winter outdoors and we are so relieved that she is with us now. The amount of hair that was taken off of her could make another dog her size :(  She was extremely matted and poorly cared for.

Arabella is in great hands now and her foster mom said she loves playing with her other dogs.  We don't know how she does with kids or cats yet.
