Klinker is a dashing young Dachshund, well, Miniature Dachshund because he only weighs 8 pounds. He is a very loving little fellow with a sweet disposition. 

Right now Klinker lives in a foster home with 5 large breed dogs. He loves to play with them and doesn't realize he isn't their size. Klinker enjoys romping through the backyard with his pals and playing with them inside as well. He'd probably do best if he had another doggy pal to play with.

He is housebroken and really likes to snuggle in bed with his foster parents. He gets kind of cold and burrows under the blankets on the couch and in the bed. He is only a tiny bit spoiled! He likes to play with toys and really enjoys tug-o-war. He is working on learning to sit and lay down. It's hard to tell when he lays down, because he's only a few inches off the floor when he stands up!

Klinker is looking for his forever home and would do well with any family. He has lots of energy and loves to play, so he needs someone who is as active as he can be! He loves other dogs and children, he even gets along with the cats. He would be a great addition to your family.
 
As for special needs, he really would like to have a fenced in backyard to play in, so he can't make a great escape! Also, pay special attention when you are opening doors, Klinker is very curious and likes to hop out and see what is going on.
