Shakira has moves like the singer so her name is appropriate.  She is a Corgi/Beagle mix and is around 5 years old.  Shakira weighs 24.8 pounds and won't get any larger.

Unfortunately Shakira was left outside during that bad snowstorm while the owner was gone.  She had a very short tie out and with all the snow piling up she couldn't get in her dog house.  A kind person brought her in their home and got her warm and fed.

Her owner was alerted that she was safe and he signed her over to our rescue.  She is now being spoiled rotten and she wouldn't have it any other way.  Shakira is a sweet, sweet dog and loves to give snuggles and kisses.  She would love to have a family to call her own and continue to be spoiled.

We are not sure if she is house trained, but she is a smart girl and will learn quickly.  She loves other dogs, but has not been tried with cat yet.
