Aspen is a gorgeous blonde Golden Retriever, he is about 2 years old and weighs 59 pounds.  He is extremely shy right now and takes a little time to get used to people.  He was not socialized well, but is very accepting to love and attention.  We believe he will do well with other dogs, but once he is clear of the hookworms we will test him with dogs, cats and kids.

We think that Aspen will do best in a home where someone is home more often.  We would like for him to have a fenced yard so he can play freely in a safe area.  He is going to be trained as an indoor dog with potty and playtime outside.

We do not know if he is housetrained yet, but we are looking for a foster home for him to work on that.
