Lefty is a handsome German Wirehaired Pointer possible mixed with some terrier.  He is about 2 years old and weighs around 40 pounds.  Lefty is a little shy when you first meet him, but warms up very quickly.  He loves humans and wants to be right next to you.  He especially loves kids according to the people in the neighborhood where he was found.

He is new to our program so we need to test him with dogs and cats.  We feel that he will be okay with other dogs, but you never can be sure about cats.  Lefty seems to be crate trained and he is extremely smart so we don't feel house training will be hard if he is not already.
