Little Sophie Ann has stolen our hearts!  She was rescued from an abusive and neglectful situation where a child was left in charge of all her care.  She was fed "sometimes" and often abused by the adults in the home. 

We are thankful that Sophie Ann is safe and sound now and is working on her rehabilitation.  She can be a little shy and timid with both people and dogs in the beginning.  Once she has built up trust, she begins to open up and relax. 

Sophie is around 2 years of age and weighs about 17 pounds.  She will need to gain around 4-5 pounds to reach her ideal weight.  Since Sophie is a little timid and shy right now, she would do best in a home without small children as she needs time and space to warm up to you.
