Nelson is a handsome 3 year old lab mix.  He weighs around 75 pounds.  His size is irrelevant as he is such a gentle soul.  Nelson was on death row at a local shelter and was rescued the day he was scheduled for euthanasia due to overcrowding.  What a shame that innocent dogs like Nelson are faced with death every day due to the irresponsibility of those they depend on most.  Although Nelson has been let down by humans, he remains loyal and loving to his human companions.  He is highly intelligent and already trained with basic obedience.  He walks great on leash...a small child could even walk him!  He is very attentive to his humans and wants a home and family of his own.  Nelson rides great in a car and loves going on trips and adventures!  He does not enjoy being crated since he is such a people dog and a fenced yard is required for his protection during potty and playtime.
