Major is a silly boy who can be a bit of a klutz at times! He is truly a "bull in a china shop!" :-) He has so much character and personality that you can't help but smile when he enters a room.
Major is 2 years old and weighs about 72 pounds. He is the type of dog that keeps you laughing with his quirky antics. He loves being around people, receiving massages, and giving kisses! Major also enjoys going for walks, playing in the creek or river, and playing with his foster sister Abigail Grace (also up for adoption). He will sit very still and quiet when he thinks it is time for his kong filled with peanut butter!
Major has some anxiety issues and prefers a quiet household and a calm caretaker. He must be exercised and given mental stimulation daily to help keep his stress levels low.
Major cannot be placed in a home with cats. Due to his strength, Major would not do well in a home with small children or small dogs as he could accidentally injure them during playtime. Major can sometimes have a hard time making other doggie friends, but does best with dogs around his own size. He requires a strong, alpha handler experienced with this breed.
