Gizmo Gizmo is a Hahn's Macaw. He (we think it's a male) was hatched on 10/5/1991. He is fully feathered and a very happy and healthy little guy. He has an extensive, over 50 words and phrases, vocabulary. He is hysterical to talk with. He asks and answers questions. Example ~ He'll ask "Are you a dog?" and then he'll actually bark. "Are you a duck?" and then he quacks. "Are you a bird?" then he tweets and says "I'm a bird, I'm a Gizmo!" and then he laughs. This is just a small sampling of his talent. He only has one "curse" word in his vocabulary. He occasionally will say "Give me a damn cracker." Other than that he has a G-Rated vocabulary. When he is upset or scared he screams "Momma". Cats, possums and raccoons scare him. He is great with dogs once he gets to know them and realizes they want to be his friend.
His food choices range from, but are not limited to, seed mix, honey nut cheerios, mixed veggies, fruit cocktail, peaches and cashews. He LOVES cashews (or crackers as he calls them). Gizmo enjoys television and some music. He enjoys and is used to old rock/roll and country.
