Poor Captain Crunch must have been living on his own for a while now.  He was a mess when we got him.  He had a very high temperature, his hair around his eyes was so matted that he couldn't see.  Because of this he has an eye infection that we are treating.  He was infested with fleas which caused him to get dermatitis.

 

We have Captain in a foster home now so they are working on housetraining and getting him back in shape.  As soon as we get new pictures of him after his grooming I will post them.  He is getting along well with the foster mom's dogs, but we don't know how he is with cats or children yet.

 

Captain Crunch is a purebred Pekingese, is about 4 years old and weighs 11.3 pounds.  He has a sweet disposition and will let you do whatever you need to do to him to make him better.
