It took us a while to figure out what breed we think Rusty is.  Believe it or not, we have come up with an Australian Shepherd mix.  He has the cropped tail and the freckles on his nose like an Aussie and is maybe mixed with a lab.  Either way Rusty is a really sweet dog who was found on 89 during a time of heavy traffic.  Rusty is about 1 year old and is very playful.  We went to visit him and he was guarded for maybe about one minute and then showed us how friendly, funny and sweet he is.  He weighs about 55 lbs and is a very smart boy.
