Finley is a 1 year old Golden Doodle, he currently weighs 56 pounds.  

Sweet Finley has had a rough start in his short life.  He was released to the shelter by his second family because he jumped on one of their kids.  Between 2 families no one taught him any obedience training and because of that he was sent away to where his fate was questionable.

Finley came to us severely matted, during his first grooming they found sticks and hay in his hair.  It seems someone must have been keeping him outside or in a barn.  He will need another grooming and a full bath but we needed to give him a break.  

Finley is a very kind and smart boy, he will need a family that can spend the time to do the training that he needs.  We have been able to teach him to sit for a treat in the short time we have had him.  He did well with another dog, but if you have older dogs that don't want a furry family member full of energy than he isn't the right match for you.  

We will take applications for Finley at our website but will only consider serious inquiries with the type of home he needs.  Finley requires humans that are home often, have experience with large energetic dogs and have a secure fenced yard for potty and playtime.  

Adoption donation is $600.  There is no guarantee that he is hypogenic, he looks more like a Poodle but does have Golden in him also.
