Hi there, my name is Leah. I am a 4 1/2 year old purebred German Shepherd. I weigh about 65 pounds, am up to date on all my shots and was spayed. I had a rough beginning. I lived with a man that didn't socialize me very well. I left the house and was hit by a car. The police found me and called the rescue for help. I couldn't get up on my own because my leg was broken. The wonderful lady from the rescue came to get me since my owner didn't want to help me out. I had surgery on my leg and now you would never know that I had an accident. I felt strange at first being with people that acted like they loved me. I now believe that they do and I am able to show them that I love them back. I get so excited when I see all my foster Mommy's that all I want to do is say hi and give them a kiss. My best friend Sunny just got adopted, although I am very happy for him I wish I could have a new home too.
I love to be brushed and enjoy having my rear end scratched. I have a new roommate now, his name is Bishop and we really get along great. I would do better in a home with a male dog rather than another female dogs. Thanks for reading this and I hope to see you soon. A fenced in area is REQUIRED.
Adoption fee $250. The first step in our adoption process is completing and submitting an online application. Thank you.
