Aztec is a 3 year old purebred Red Merle Australian Shepherd. When she was a puppy she got hit by a car and had to have a hip replacement. The vet told her family that she shouldn't have any problems resulting from her surgery. She walks about 3 miles a day and does great with the exercise. Aztec is an alpha dog which means that she needs to be an only dog or with a male that is more submissive. She does not have any aggression problems with food or toys. She would do better in a home with only adults or older children as she likes a calm environment. Aztec is a very smart dog and has graduated from obedience training school. She is very loyal and protective with her current family. Fenced in yard REQUIRED. Please consider bringing Aztec into your home.
