Maddie is a 10 year old Maltese, she only weighs 7 pounds.  

Maddie was given to us by a couple that needed help with her.  They got her from a breeder when she couldn't produce puppies anymore.  This couple loved her but she kept getting under the wife's feet and she would fall.  It's a good thing that they did bring her to us because we found a low grade Mammary tumor on her.  The Vet removed it and feels he got it all but she will have to be watched closely from now on.  

Maddie does not act like a 10 year old at all.  She has a lot of energy and keeps her foster parents busy keeping up with her.  She does good with the foster's one small dog but Maddie keeps going after the other dog.  This dog is older and can't fight back so we need to find her a home quickly.  It seems that she is being food aggressive so she will need to be an only dog or we would have to test her with the adopters dog to see if they get along.  

Maddie is small so she can squeeze through a picket fence.  She will need either a solid fence or be leash walked at all times because she will run off.
