Waffles is a 5 month old Great Pyrenees, he weighs 50 pounds right now.
You might remember Waffles from about 2 months ago. He was adopted to a wonderful family who took great care of him and even brought in a trainer to work with him. Unfortunately he has started resource guarding with his food. This family had very young kids and he would growl if they came by his food. The kids were scared and the training didn't seem to help so they asked if we could find him a new home.
We are not sure how he will be with other animals because they didn't have any in their home. He is great with people and with older kids. We will need to get him in a foster home to test his food guarding unless he gets a home before then. We have a trainer that can work with the new owners if they are local.
Waffles is a sweet boy that is ready and waiting for his forever home. He is an indoor dog, he is house trained and he needs a secure fenced yard for potty and playtime.
His adoption donation is $350, you can fill out an application from our website if you would like to meet him.
