Tanner is a 5 year old Shih Tzu, he currently weighs 24 pounds.  This poor little guy was a mess when we got him.  We honestly thought he was a senior dog.  

Tanner is a very sweet boy with a great personality considering his condition.  He had a horrible skin infection, so we shaved him down.  He is on medication and needs a medicated bath once a week.  Hopefully in time this will clear up but Shih Tzu's are know to have issues with their skin and allergies.  

Tanner likes to beg for food and will sit up like a prairie dog, it is very adorable but he doesn't need human food.  He is house trained and loves to play with other dogs.  He hasn't been around any cats yet.
