We believe Klaus was born toward the end of August and is the last of his siblings to need a forever home. Klaus did not get off to a positive start with humans, but has turned into a loving boy in his foster home. He will probably grow to be about 50 pounds.
Because of his slow start, he is shy in new surroundings until he's sure he's safe. His forever parents will need to be patient with him for a few days. He has blossomed in his foster home and runs and plays with the other dogs. He will need some house training work, but voluntarily goes in his crate, and has not soiled his crate. He asks his foster mom for petting and loves a tummy rub.
We don't know if he likes cats or children, but he loves other dogs. Klaus must be in a home with another dog (or more) to play with and show him the ropes.
Fenced yard required for playtime. If you would like to meet Klaus please fill out an application from our website.
