Morris is our miracle kitty!!! He is a 4 year old DMH, orange in color and weighs 10.8 pounds.
This sweet boy had an owner that decided to have him declawed. Then for some reason she re homed him to another woman. Morris is now in a new home, has been traumatized by his surgery and gets kicked out of the house because he peed on the new owner's mattress. A neighbor alerted us of what was going on so we started looking for a foster home. Next thing you know we get a call that Morris must have been in a fight because he has some blood on his leg. We tell the lady to get him to our vet's office immediately. The news wasn't good, poor Morris was attacked by at least a 40 pound dog and his femur was broken in two.
We were concerned that he may have diabetes because of the bathroom accidents in his first home. If that was the case we couldn't do surgery. Luckily his sugar test came back ok and he now has a pin in his leg. Morris is such a trooper, he never complained about being in pain and has been in crate rest for 2 weeks. We aren't sure how Morris is with other cats and how he feels about dogs now. Right now we are looking for a foster home to slowly try him.
He is ready for his forever home and is such a wonderful boy. Please fill out an application if you would like to meet Morris.
