Millie is a 3 1/2 month old Australian Shepherd/Lab mix. She is little for her age at 12 pounds.
This sweet little girl was brought to us with very bad Pneumonia at 8 weeks old. She was in critical condition for 2 weeks and then finally started to feel better. She doesn't have Pneumonia now but does have bronchitis so her foster parents have to keep her somewhat calm. Our vet feels she will make a full recovery but may be more susceptible to illness if around other sick dogs.
We think Millie will grow to be about 45 pounds but she may be smaller because of being so sick at her young age. Her foster parents would tell you that is is a tiny ball of fun. She LOVES their dog so she would have to be with another dog that would play with her.
Millie spent a lot of time at the vet's office so she wasn't exposed to many people at first. She gets scared very easy and will hide from new people. Once she gets used to you she is fine but she would be happier in a home without small children. Millie needs a fenced yard for potty and playtime and no invisible fences.
Please fill out an application if you would like to meet Millie and give her a loving home.
