Meet Super Dave!

Super Dave is an extremely handsome approx. 1.5 yr old Dutch Shepherd / German Shepherd mix who weighs about 75lbs. He is high energy and can come across as rude with other dogs. He would be okay with other large dogs that like to play rough but that will also tell him to knock it off, too. He would not do well with smaller or older dogs that wouldn't like his style of play. He is very toy and food driven and is learning to be calm and patient with frequent reminders about boundaries and manners. He has been corrected for being mouthy and pushing boundaries, but will need constant correction and continued training. He is a very sweet-natured boy, and loves people. Any adopter needs to be interested in continuing his training to keep him both mentally and physically active.  He loves to go on hikes and does walk nicely on a leash.

He is neutered, up to date on shots, current on preventative, and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $250. His adopter will have behavior support from our trainer.
