Rex is a 7 year old all white German Shepherd. He only weighs 70 pounds and needs to gain at least 15 more. Luckily he is in a wonderful foster home that is feeding him well.
Rex was released by his owners because they are now to elderly to care for him properly. He doesn't seem to have been socialized properly but he is very smart and learns quickly. He is good with other dogs and his foster mom is teaching him when the other dog is done with playtime.
He has a strong prey drive so he cannot be off leash at all. Not only does he want to chase small animals but he also feels he needs to chase cars. A fenced yard would be perfect for him when he is outdoors playing, getting exercise. He would be a good dog to go on easy hikes with as he learns his leash manners more.
Rex plays fetch like a champ and is great with children. He doesn't jump on people or furniture and he only chews on things that are approved. He is doing well with house training and loves to be at home by his foster mom's side.
Please fill out an application if you would like to meet Rex. Fenced yard is required and he needs someone who is familiar with the GSD breed.
