Sargent Pepper is a 9 year old Cockapoo (Cocker Spaniel/Poodle) he weighs 20 pounds.  Poor Sargent Pepper has had a rough life so far.  

He was found in the middle of a busy road and a passer by thought he may have been hit by a car.  One of our past adopters saw him and stopped traffic to pick him up.  He was brought to the vet and we were called to help.  We located the owner, but didn't hear from him until 2 days later.  He felt that Sargent Pepper had too many issues that he couldn't care for so he opted to have him euthanized.  Instead we had him signed over to us in hopes to give him a chance at a good life.

Sargent Pepper had a tumor near his rectum that forms due to a dog not being neutered.  The tumor was successfully removed.  He also has a heart murmur and extremely bad teeth.  

We had him neutered, the tumor was successfully removed and he had a dental where several of his teeth were pulled.

We would be so happy if we could find a foster home for him until he gets adopted.  He is a very sweet dog, loves to be snuggled and is very calm.

Sargent Pepper is good with other dogs, but we don't know about cats.  He is house trained but will probably need a little extra watching in a new environment.
