UPDATE:  Max was adopted into a wonderful family.  Now Amanda needs to meet her new family!!

Meet Amanda and Max, they are sister and brother Chihuahua's, they are both 5 months old.  Amanda is the fawn colored one and Max is the black one. 

Their owner turned them over to the rescue after Amanda was dropped in a bathtub and broke her jaw.  She didn't need surgery, but had her jaw wrapped for a couple of weeks.  The wrap has since been removed but she still needs to eat very soft food for a bit longer. She is under weight, but will start to put some weight back on now that the wrap is off.

Amanda is 3 lbs and Max is 3.7 pounds, they are both extremely adorable and very sweet.  They love humans and do not react towards other dogs except in a playful way.  They really are fun to watch, just the cutest little babies ever and always so happy. 

They are not potty trained yet but that is being worked on, whoever adopts them may need to work on it a little.
