Harvey is a gorgeous Treeing Walker Coonhound who is 2 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. He was found as a stray out in what felt like the middle of nowhere.
Harvey is extremely docile, a snuggler and very friendly. He loves other dogs and is very fond of humans especially children. He runs to the window when he hears the school bus dropping off his foster mom's grandkids and lays next to them while they do their homework. He stares at the foster moms cat but has not made an attempt to chase it in the house, he seems more curious then anything but will not approach it. He is a hugger and likes to have lots of attention. He does well alone and loose in the house, just lays around like a hound waiting for his foster family to get home. He has no food aggression and will share a food bowl with his 3 fur dog friends which range from a very small male dog to two large female dogs. He also adores the two male labs on either side of his yard. He will sit at the fence with his tail just a wagging while waiting for them to visit him. A fenced in backyard is a requirement for anyone wanting to adopt Harvey, he enjoys exploring his yard and laying in the sunshine.
