Elsa van Helsing has a sad, painful past.  We aren't sure of the details, but Elsa was discovered wandering around a local park.  She appeared to be very sick and old and we weren't sure she had much life left.  Luckily, we were so wrong! 

Elsa suffered from a serious outbreak of scabies/mange and had to be quarantined for nearly 6 weeks since she was highly contagious.  Elsa's mange was extremely painful.  Her skin was dry, cracked, and bleeding and her fur was falling out.  She was itchy and couldn't rest well. 

Elsa is now officially out of quarantine!!  She has completed her treatment and his mange free.  Her fur is slowly growing back in and we are finally able to hug and kiss on the precious girl. 

Elsa was thought to have been old when she was rescued, but she only looked old because of her mange.  She in only around 3 years old!!  Elsa has lots of life ahead of her and is looking forward to living her life out with a loving family!
