Learn more about the Siberian Husky.

Hi!  My name is Amber.  I was taken out of the county shelter scared and confused.  I didn't know why I had been abandoned.  My foster family tells me that I will never be abandoned again and that there is a perfect family for me somewhere out there.  I now know that this is true and I can't wait to find my perfect forever family!  Take a close look at my left eye.  It is half blue and half green!  I enjoy playing fetch and tug-of-war, riding in cars, and chewing on my rawhide bones.  I love any type of toy and after playtime, I want to cuddle with my human companions.  I live with my best friend Bishop and we love to play with each other. I don't do well with all dogs, I prefer other males over females.  I don't like to share my toys or my bones so I may be better off in a home without other dogs if the other dog is Alpha.  My foster family is working on me with this issue. I also like to chase cats and for some reason they tell me not to do that.  I just can't help it, I see them run and I want to follow.  Anyway they said I am not allowed to be placed with cats.  Are you the forever family that I have been looking for?

**Amber is a 2 year old Purebred female Husky weighing about 50 pounds.  She is red and white.  She is a typical Husky, so if you are interested in her, we suggest you familiarize yourself with the breed.  Huskies make wonderful family dogs and are great with children and Amber's personality is true to this.

Please fill out an application from our website if you are interested meeting/adopting Amber.

**Fenced in yard required for potty and playtime (underground fences not appropriate for Amber)**
