Blu is a 9 month old Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix, he currently weighs 27 pounds.  A couple months ago we adopted out Blu's Mom Brownie, who is a Golden Retriever mix.  

Blu is a sweet little guy but he didn't have a lot of socialization in his previous home.  He was very scared when we got him in the program and he is slowly getting used to being around new people.  He has been treated for fleas and hook worms and will be neutered soon.  

Blu will need a patient family to slowly work with him to come out of his shell.  He would do well with another dog who is social.  We aren't sure yet how he would be with little children but older kids would be ok.
