Ryker is a 2 year old hound mix, he weighs about 66 pounds.
The name Ryker means "brave" and that describes him perfectly. Ryker was taken from an abusive home and recently had surgery on his eye. Unfortunately his eye was so damaged it had to be removed. Ryker is doing much better now without the eye.
We finally found a foster home for him and this is what his mom had to say:
He was quite bonkers when we first got him but he is adjusting well. He knows sit and quite possibly paw. We are working on keeping all four on the floor .
He does great in the crate. He is not to fond of the Roomba yet. He is a very happy and energetic boy. Loves fetch!
He's learning to calm down when he wants to play with our little dog or cat. I think he would do best in an active home with kids older than 10 or with another dog. He doesn't realize how big he is especially when he wants to be in your lap.
Please fill out an application if you would like to adopt Ryker.
