Sputnik is a 12 year old Purebred Dachshund, he weighs 12 pounds.  

Some dogs really have it rough and Sputnik is one of them.  He was kept in a basement all his life and was fed every 3rd day.  Can you even imagine treating this sweet loving boy like that????  

Well no more, even though Sputnik is 12, his new and wonderful life starts here.  We have him at our vet's office so he can have a dental.  Poor guy has rotten teeth :(  Once that is done he will go into our special senior loving foster home. We really want this baby to have a special family that will spoil him rotten.  He has cataracts and will need to learn how to eat healthy.
