We would like for you to meet Lilly. She is a pretty 1 year old girl weighing in at 32 pounds. Seriously, we need a DNA test to find out what breeds Lilly is. We listed her as a basenji because of her pointed ears and Pointer for her face shape and body. Our guess is as good as yours!!!!
Lilly is the LIFE OF THE PARTY!!! She's not the type to sit shyly in the corner, she's going to go up and greet everyone and make sure every last soul in the room feels welcome. She loves to run and play with her foster brothers, so she absolutely needs a house with a fenced yard and other dogs. She's a bundle of energy and needs that time outside to run around and explore the world around her. She received positive reviews from her last visit both on her health, temperament, and obviously the fact that she's absolutely adorable.
She's learning her leash manners, but it's going to take time for this young ball of curiosity. She's very good about going into her crate when requested. She doesn't love to be in there for too long when everyone else is out and about in the house doing other things, but who would? Give her two minutes of patience and she'll calm down and take a nap. Since she is young and adventurous it's important if you can't monitor her to keep her somewhere safe while she learns her boundaries in the house.
