Owen is a 1 1/2 year old Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing in at 56.8 pounds.

Meet ‘Owen’, a sweet, snuggly, cuddly, kissy-face hugger and precious angel doggie. This amazing young fellow needs a forever home! 

This loving, lit tle joy factory wandered up to one of our volunteers driveway. She hoped if she scared him away, he would run back to wherever he came from — but no matter what she did, he would not leave. He sat on her feet and refused to go anywhere.

His owner came by looking for him but told her that he was looking for a new home for him because he was overwhelmed with small children to care for.  We told her to bring him to the vet and good thing she did.  Poor Owen was covered in ticks and had whipworms that can be deadly if not treated.

Owen is very unique in how he interacts with people, just such a sweetheart that we feel many people will want him. So we are all taking a special interest in finding the ABSOLUTE perfect forever home for this little guy. He really needs to go to someone who will reflect his gentle nature and kindness back upon him.
