Thurston is a 17 week old Australian Shepherd mix, he currently weighs 19.4 pounds.  He is from the litter of puppies we called the Gilligan's Island gang.  Unfortunately these puppies are strays that are running with their mom and aren't used to people so they have been hard to catch.  

Poor Thurston has bad demodectic mange.  It is not contagious to other dogs and he is being treated for it now.  Thurston has had his first set of shots so far, we had to wait until he was feeling well enough.  He will need some extra loving and care to know that he is safe with humans.  He is a sweet boy, just very shy right now.  All of his brothers and sister have been adopted into wonderful homes and are doing great socially.
